Q: Why are you implementing SimplBnB?

A: SimplBnB will improve communication between you and your Cleaner to avoid missing a cleaning so that guests have a relaxing start to their vacation.

 

Q: What are the benefits of SimplBnB?

A: The three main benefits of SimpBnB are:

 
  1. SimplBnB will give you peace of mind by providing immediate feedback when the cleaners have arrived to clean your unit.

  2. SimplBnB will save you time by automatically communicating your cleaning schedule directly from your Airbnb, VRBO and other booking platforms and creating an online method for you to enter manual cleanings.

  3. SimplBnB will enable your cleaner to generate timely and accurate invoices saving you time of reconciling.

 

Q: What are the benefits of SimplBnB to guests?

A: Guests will be assured that arrive to a clean and well-prepared property to start their vacation.

In the future we will enable you to activate new features such as notifying the guest when the unit is cleaned to allow early check in, ensure good communication and a better-than-expected experience.

 

Q: How much will SimplBnB cost?

A: Your cleaner has introduced this as a benefit for its customers and there will be a setup charge and a monthly subscription charge.  In the future we will be introducing premium features that you may choose to add-on.  There may also be charges passed on by your cleaner in the future as the hardware component of the service needs to be replaced and they need to recover that cost.  In the future we also plan on having extra revenue enhancing features that may offset the cost of this service.  Stay hunted for that.  

 

Q: How do I import cleanings automatically from Airbnb and VRBO?

A: Log into your account at SimplBnB.com and click on “Calendar import” then enter the iCal URL from the listing platform. Here are instructions for popular listing platforms.

 

Airbnb:

1. Go to Availability Settings in the Listing Calendar:

2. In Availability Settings - Scroll Down to EXPORT CALENDAR:

3. Copy and Send us the Link for the Airbnb iCal link:

 

VRBO:

1. Go to Reservations on the left hand side, Click on the down arrow to reveal Reservations:

2. Press the Import/Export on the main frame:

3. Click on the Export Calandar link to reveal the iCal URL to send to us:

4.  Copy the iCal URL which you paste into our System.

 

Please let us know if you use any other short term booking platforms such as Booking.com or TripAdvisor and we will follow up with you.  

 

Q: How do you notify me about cleanings and their status?

A: Every Sunday at 8am we will send you an email with the cleaning schedule for the week. Every day at 5am we will send you an email with that day’s cleaning schedule. We highlight when guests will be checking in the same day so that your cleaner will prioritize those cleanings. If there are no cleanings that day we send you a note to say there are no cleanings.

 

We will send you a text or email when the cleaners arrive at your property so you can feel confident that they have cleaned it on schedule. We will notify you if the cleaners are at risk for missing the cleaning deadline.

 

In the future we will enable you to adjust notification settings.

 

Q: Do you support other booking platforms?

A: SimplBnB supports any platform that provides the reservation calendar in the form of an iCal.

 

Q: How do I manually enter cleanings through SimplBnB?

A: Log into your account at SimplBnB.com and click on “Cleaning Calendar”

Q: How do you handle my sensitive booking calendar information?

A: SimplBnB takes privacy and security seriously. We use the latest technologies to secure your data on our servers. We encrypt your information restrict access to it in our systems. Please review our privacy policy here.
